Procedure

General procedure for recognition at our chair

The recognition takes place in two steps:

Preliminary evaluation of the chances of recognition.
(Optional but strongly recommended).

  • Send us an outline and the required literature before the course begins. On this basis, we determine the chances of recognition of the course.
  • We will inform you of the preliminary evaluation as early as possible by email.
  • The preliminary evaluation is not binding. This applies in particular to cases such as Bachelor courses in the fourth year, which should be recognized for the Master's degree.

Final decision on recognition.

A final decision on recognition is only possible after the course. In order to assess whether the course can be recognized, please send us the following documents:

  • Copy of the performance certificate
  • Outline of the course
  • Literature list of the course with the compulsory literature on each topic
  • Certificate of the number of hours per week in the semester
  • Certificate of the type and scope of the respective examination performance
  • Certificate of the level of the course (Bachelor, Master in Economics)
  • Slides or notes of the course.
  • Exams, homework, term papers, etc.
  • Any other documents that could help make a decision.
  • The completed and signed application form from the office of the examination board
